CHAPTER 042 MIN READ

The extremely unofficial bestiary

Build a squad that answers questions

  1. Who stands in front?

Cloudback absorbs damage. Orchardhorn and Vaultguard can give a push more presence. A fragile ranged line needs protection.

  2. Who handles the sky?

Voltrunner, Lensfin, and Hoodwing can target air. Ground-only creatures cannot solve a flying problem by looking more determined.

  3. Who punishes a crowd?

Portalwyrm and Orchardhorn bring area damage. Use it against swarms and tightly packed pushes.

  4. Who keeps a push alive?

Vitalbloom heals nearby allies. Reelmoth adds airborne support. A healer cannot repair poor positioning from the other side of the map.

  5. Can you afford the hand?

Balance 2–3 elixir options against expensive 4–5 elixir threats. Four costly cards can leave you watching a battle you cannot afford to join.
